Provide legal counseling and advice to clients on various employment-related matters.
Handle a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
Litigate employment matters in state and federal courts.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
Collaborate with colleagues across practices and offices to provide comprehensive solutions for clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Active member and in good standing of the Texas bar.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law for Counsel candidates and 7 years of experience for Senior Counsel candidates.
Strong background in Texas employment litigation and advice and counseling.
Trial experience preferred.
Familiarity with employment manuals and other relevant employment-related documents.
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience with federal and state employment statutes.
Comfort with direct client interaction and providing legal counseling and advice.
Excellent communication, analytical, and research skills.
